GP appointments available on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day

Over Christmas, even more urgent, same day GP appointments are available at GP hubs to patients registered with a GP in Barking and Dagenham. Appointments are available from 6.30pm-10pm on weekdays, and 12pm-4pm on weekends.
Even on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day GPs will be available to provide advice and treatment. GP hub at Barking Community Hospital on Upney Lane will be open every day offering urgent, same day GP appointments, including between 12-4pm on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day. To book an urgent, same day appointment call 020 3770 1888. The walk-in services at Barking Community Hospital are open Monday to Friday 7am-10pm and weekends and bank holidays 9am-10pm, all year except Christmas Day, so is a way to see a GP urgently without an appointment.
