How Do Local Service Providers Handle Their Complaints?

We carried a survey of what happens when local organisations; serving local people; handle complaints about their services from the public.

The findings from this report will feed into a wider project; to be undertaken by the Public Health Team on behalf of Barking and Dagenham Health and Wellbeing Board.

This report has been compiled following a public event on Wednesday 21st January 2015. Healthwatch hosted the event to give local people a say on the Council’s Health and Wellbeing Strategy and the Clinical Commissioning Group’s plans for 15/16.

Great Healthy Living Event

The report was compiled following the Great Healthy Living Event, which took place on Tuesday 16th February 2016. Healthwatch hosted the event to give local people a say on the Clinical Commissioning Group’s plans for 2016/2017.                 

The report is a representation of service users who responded to the survey monkey questions and who took part on the day.

Protecting Vulnerable Adults

This report outlines the view of respondents who answered a series of 10 questions posed by Healthwatch Barking and Dagenham on behalf of the Safeguarding Adult Board (SAB). This survey contributes to the public consultation undertaken by the SAB as part of drafting the Adult Safeguarding Strategy for the London borough of Barking and Dagenham.

Saint Francis Hospice and low referal rates

This piece of research was undertaken to try and understand the reasons behind the seemingly low awareness and use of St Francis Hospice by Barking and Dagenham residents.
