Social Prescribing and Mental Health Project Updates
12/09/2023
Our Social Prescribing and Mental Health Project is still ongoing. Our primary goal is to gain insight into individuals' experiences with social prescribing, particularly in the context of mental health support. Additionally, we aim to identify the challenges people face when accessing social prescribing services. Through these efforts, we hope to enhance awareness of social prescribing as an available service in Barking and Dagenham.
We have been actively engaging with various local groups and individuals with mental health needs. We are actively seeking for more individuals who have benefited from the social prescribing service to share their valuable insights and experiences with us.
How You Can Contribute:
If you have previously used the social prescribing service, your input is crucial in shaping its future. You can support us by
1. Completing our survey here
2. Call us on 0800 298 5331
3. Text us on 0795 102 1625
3. Sending an email to info@healthwatchbarkinganddagenham.co.uk.
Your participation will play a significant role in improving social prescribing services within our borough, ensuring that the services meet the needs of our community.
If you require additional information, please feel free to contact us at 0800 298 5331.
Thank you for being a part of this project, and together, we can create positive changes in mental health support and social prescribing services.
