London Ambulance Service Opportunities

22/05/2015

The London Ambulance Service is leading on a new research project and they are seeking members to join the patient and public panel.

The project involves data sharing with hospitals to better understand what happens to patients once they are taken to hospital by ambulance. The project is set to run for two years and partners include Swansea University, Kingston University & St Georges, University of London and the Nuffield Trust.

To ensure that the maximum benefit is gained from the project, it is essential that the patient and public panel provide comment and advice on all aspects of the project’s delivery. There are no specific requirements to become a member of the panel, you don’t need to be a patient nor have a research background to be involved. The panel will meet four times over the course of the project at 6pm in Waterloo, London.

Please find an information sheet attached for more details about the patient panel.

They are also recruiting to the project board and the advisory group; you can be a member of more than one group. More information about the other group is provided on separate documents below.
