Local Support Groups 

NELFT offers talking therapies, you can call 0300 300 1554 on weekdays from 9AM to 5PM. Choose option 1 of you are resident of Redbridge, option 2 if you are resident of Havering, option 3 if you are resident of Barking & Dagenham and option 4 if you are a resident of Waltham Forest.

Havering Mind  understand there are worries and concerns regarding the current development of the Coronavirus pandemic. At this challenging time, their efforts at Havering Mind are focused towards the support of their service users, the resilience of service arrangements and to ensuring the safety of clients, volunteers and staff alike.

Anxiety UK is a national charity that helps those affected by anxiety, stress, and anxiety-based depression.
You can call Anxiety UK on 03444 775 774, they are available from Monday to Friday between the hours of 9:30 to 5:30.

Beat is UK’s eating disorder charity. If you are an adult struggling with an eating disorder call their free helpline from 9AM to 8PM (weekdays) and 4PM to 8PM (weekends and bank holidays) on 0808 801 0677. Beat supports students struggling with eating disorders you can call their free helpline from 9AM to 8PM (weekdays) and 4PM to 8PM (weekends and bank holidays) on 0808 801 0677. Samaritans is a charity aimed at providing emotional support to anyone in distress or at risk of suicide. You can call them for free on 116 123 or email: jo@samaritans.org for a reply within 24 hours.

SANEline is a national out of hours mental health helpline offering specialist emotional support and guidance. If you are experiencing a mental health problem or supporting someone else, you can call on 0300 304 7000 (4.30pm–10.30pm every day).

Young Minds is a charity committed to support young minds, whatever their challenges. You can text the YoungMinds Crisis Messenger for free 24/7 support if you are experiencing a mental health crisis. If you need urgent help, text YM to 85258.
