NHS Northeast London fertility policy
01/08/2022
NHS Northeast London has expressed that it wants to change some of its policies surrounding IVF. The aim is to not only make these policies more uniform across Northeast London but to bring them closer to nationwide guidelines surrounding IVF. Furthermore, the NHS is wanting to improve access to fertility treatments in the local area.
An engagement document or simplified easy read version has been released explaining the proposed changes in more detail alongside an online survey in which the NHS is interested in hearing people’s views on these changes. They are particularly interested if you have had fertility problems or if you’re from an under-represented group (E.g. ethnic minority, LGBTQ+).
Note: Survey must be completed before 11:59pm 22nd August 2022
