Improving Access to Psychological Therapy
23/02/2015
North East London NHS Foundation Trust (NELFT) is asking you to look after your mental health by contacting its talking therapies service if you are experiencing depression or anxiety disorders such as:
panic attacks
anxiety
excessive worry
phobias

agoraphobia

stress
relationship difficulties
There are many types of talking therapies available and some are better for certain problems, conditions and people than others. If you are experiencing any of the conditions mentioned and live in Barking and Dagenham, Havering, Redbridge or Waltham Forest, you can contact the NELFT talking therapy services for your borough without a GP referral. Talking therapy is available to individuals and couples who live in one of the four boroughs mentioned, are over 18, have a local GP and are not already being treated.
To help you decide which one would be most suitable for you, contact talking therapies, which NELFT calls improving access to psychological therapy services (IAPT), for your area by telephone or email.
